Our home inspections exceed ASHI standards!

An EIS home inspection consists of a comprehensive evaluation of your home’s primary features and systems.  The items listed below are checked as part of a typical EIS home inspection:  

  • Foundation/structure

  • Roof, gutters and downspouts

  • Electrical system including wiring and service panel

  • Lighting and receptacles

  • Plumbing system

  • Sump pump and water heater

  • Heating, cooling, and ventilation systems

  • Bathrooms

  • Plumbing fixtures

  • Kitchen appliances

  • Windows and doors

  • Walls and ceilings

  • Chimneys and fireplaces

  • Attic and crawl spaces

  • Home exterior including grounds

  • Driveway and sidewalks

  • Garage

Upon completion of your home inspection, EIS will provide you with a detailed, easy to read inspection report, including a list of maintenance tips for your home.

At EIS, our primary goal is your satisfaction.  Our inspectors are available at any time after your home inspection to answer your questions.  At your request, we will revisit your home at any time prior to your closing to address any additional questions or concerns, at no charge to you.
